Why the company is named Amyoku.
Amyoku is a combination of two ladies’ name. These two ladies influence one of the founders the most in her life. Amy and Yoku are the mother and grandmother of the founder. They are in-laws. The fusion of their name stands for the mix of western and oriental culture.
Amy used to work for an international organization, so she picked up an English name. This is very common in the Taiwanese workplace. Yoku was raised in the era when Taiwan was a colony of Japan before WW2 ended. We hope this name bring us a long-run business as Amy and Yoku had lived together for decades.
